Application Clinic for Undocumented Students

December 6 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The College Access for Undocumented Students’ Education (CAUSE) seeks to be a safe place for undocumented students and advocate for the needs of undocumented peoples and those affected by unjust immigration legislation. This year, the student group will be focusing on the needs of undocumented students in underserved high schools. Currently, there are roughly 30,000 undocumented students in New York City high schools, and the path for them to reach college is incredibly difficult and complicated, especially when they do not have access to adequate resources, advising, or assistance with the process of graduating high school and applying to college. While we want to promote higher education for undocumented students, UndoCU also wants to address this issue directly by holding an information session and application clinics for more than 100 undocumented students in New York City.

UndoCU’s College Access for Undocumented Students’ Education (CAUSE) will be holding a college application clinic on Friday, December 6th, 2019 (3:00pm – 7:00pm) to help undocumented high school students on scholarship and college applications as well as SAT and ACT Prep.

Location: Columbia University, 4th floor of Hamilton Hall – Registration is mandatory
