November 12, 2015 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Join the Center for Brazilian Studies in its Brazil Brown Bag Seminar Series. The lecture, entitled “Social Networks in the National Health Plans Agency (ANS),” will be given by Marcello Fragano Baird.

The study’s main objective is to analyze the relationships established between public and private actors in Brazilian health plan’s domain. Through network analysis, we will assess how strong are the connections between the regulatory agency (ANS) and the regulated sector and how autonomous can this agency be.

Marcello Fragano Baird. Marcello holds a Bachelor in International Relations and in Social Sciences, a Master in Political Science from the University of São Paulo and is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the same university. He has experience in lobbying/advocacy, regulatory agencies and public security.
