COVID-19 in Latin America: Crime, State Weakness, and Criminal Governance

The Institute of Latin American Studies (ILAS) together with Columbia Global Centers in Rio de Janeiro, Columbia Global Centers in Santiago, and Stanford University are hosting a webinar on April 28 at 3PM (EST) on COVID-19’s impact on crime, state weakness and criminal governance in Latin America.

The guest speakers will be Eduardo Moncada, Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Barnard College, and Beatriz Magaloni, Professor in the Department of Political Science at Stanford University.

This event will be moderated by Vicky Murillo, Director of ILAS and Professor of Political Science and International and Public Affairs.
