Jaime Lombana: Ideas for a Better Colombia – Press and Criminality

Jaime Lombana is one of the most prominent lawyers in contemporary Colombia who has participated in some of the most relevant criminal proceedings in Colombia’s recent history.  Having graduated from the Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá, place where he is now a professor, Doctor Lombana obtained a PhD on Criminal Law at the University of León in Spain. His doctoral thesis, following the thematic he had previously treated in several publications, was on influence peddling and bribery in Spain and Colombia as prevention of public corruption. Having also worked for the government in Colombia for more than 25 years, Doctor Lombana will discuss his proposals for a better Colombia regarding press and criminality.
