October 8 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Khan Academy’s mission is to make world-class education a human right, but one of the challenges facing this goal is how to build educator capacity so they can lead the change and enhance learning through technology. In this talk, we will explore the role that teacher education plays to accelerate development in Latin America.

Guest Speaker: Cainã Perri | Cainã has worked for nearly a decade as an English teacher in various school settings in Brazil, Peru and Turkey. In 2014, Cainã was hired by the Lemann Foundation to manage the translation of Khan Academy into Portuguese. After finishing his Master’s, Cainã became responsible for all teacher education initiatives in Brazil.
