Modernizing the Latin American State: A Work in Progress

The Institute of Latin American Studies invites you to attend “Modernizing the Latin American State: A Work in Progress” with Ben Roseth.

Benjamin Roseth is a Modernization of the State Specialist at the Inter‐American Development Bank. He coordinates analytical work for the Institutional Capacity of the State Division, including impact evaluations and other research on public sector reform initiatives in Latin American and the Caribbean. Previously, as a Young Professional at the IDB, he worked in the Office of Evaluation and Oversight. Prior to the IDB, he was a Federal Strategy Consultant at Deloitte and a Junior Professional Associate in the Public Sector and Governance unit of the World Bank. He holds a Master’s in International Affairs with a concentration in Economic and Political Development from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, a Bachelor’s in International Relations from Tufts University and a Bachelor’s in Jazz Performance from the New England Conservatory. He speaks fluent Spanish and intermediate French.
