Where is Latin America Heading?

The Institute of Latin American Studies, the Latin American Student Association, and SIPA’s Department of Economic and Political Development at Columbia University invite you to a special talk titled “Where is Latin America Heading?” with guest speaker Rebecca Grynspan, Secretary General of the Ibero American Secretariat.

Speaker:

REBECA GRYNSPAN is the Secretary General of the Ibero American Secretariat. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Grynspan held the post of Assistant Secretary General of the UN and Associate Administrator of UNDP since February 2010. From 2006 to 2010, she was Deputy Secretary General of the UN and UNDP Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean. Before joining the UN, she served as Vice President of Costa Rica, as Minister of Housing, Minister Coordinator of Economic and Social Affairs and Deputy Minister of Finance.
