Workshop – Methodological Developments in Teaching of Spanish as a Second Language

Join us for a workshop on Methodological Developments in Teaching of Spanish as a Second Language – A Workshop for Teachers XIII – Two Directions on Curriculum Design. The workshop will be led by Kim Potowski from the University of Illinois at Chicago who will talk about General Principles in Teaching Heritage Speakers Linguistic and Curricular Considerations (in English) and Heidi Byrners from Georgetown University who will talk about Linking Content and Language Learning in an Integrated Multi-Year Curriculum (in English). The workshop will be held on Saturday, April 27th from 10 am to 6 PM at Julius S. Held Lecture Hall – Barnard College. Please RSVP toGR2250@columbia.edu. Registration is free.
