Mexican students make one of the largest groups of foreign students at Columbia. We receive students in schools and departments across the campus, including Teachers College, the School of Engineering and Applied Science, and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. In addition to the members of our faculty who work on Mexican themes, ILAS hosts the O'Gorman Visiting Fellows program since 2007, and has often received Mexican scholars as Tinker Visiting Professors. These activities express not only the dynamism of Mexican scholarship at Columbia but also the role the University plays as a portal to research and academic exchanges for Mexican scholars.
