As part of the Americas Dialogue on Education Policy Initiative (ADEP)
In Argentina, as in many other Latin American countries, education is said to be in crisis, but this rather normal critical stage of education is more preoccupied with finding culprits, creating evidence, and issuing sentences for the crime of having ineffective schooling systems, rather than in creating holistic solutions. How to judge schools when they are under suspicion and what to do to save them?
With Emilio Tenti, Professor of Sociology of Education, Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, Argentina
