Brazilian Society (BRS)
The Brazilian Society (BRS) is an undergraduate student group founded in 2019 with the goal of giving the Brazilian community on campus a space to feel represented and to share and celebrate our culture to the wider Columbia community. Its main purpose is to encourage Brazilians and non-Brazilians of the Columbia University community to engage with Brazil, its culture, and its most relevant issues. In light of this, BRS aims to promote a cultural exchange between the campus community and Brazil, as well as to seek to create a space where the on-campus community can discuss and debate a wide range of topics that pertain to Brazil. BRS thus welcomes and invites all members of the Columbia Community to participate in the activities it hosts and organizes.

Columbia Law School Brazilian Association
The Columbia Law School Brazilian Association (CLS Brazil) is a graduate student–led organization founded in 2016 to promote academic, professional, and cultural engagement between Brazil and the United States within the Columbia community. CLS Brazil seeks to strengthen the relationship between Brazil and the United States by promoting knowledge of Brazil’s legal, business, political, and cultural frameworks. CLS Brazil's purpose goes beyond the academic environment: they aim to foster meaningful exchanges between academia and the market as a driver of social and economic development. Through lunch talks, panels, workshops, social events, and an annual “CLS Brazil Forum,” they create opportunities for dialogue, networking, and practical insights on topics related to Brazil.
