Brazil Seminar - Immediate Challenges and Long Run Opportunities for Brazil

Guest Speaker: Gabrielle Trebat, Managing Director for Brazil and Southern Cone, McLarty Associates

September 14th, 6:10 pm

Livestream via ILAS Youtube.

The Brazil Seminar is a practicum, designed to discuss major economic, political, and social problems of contemporary Brazil with leading analysts, activists, business leaders, and public figures. The seminar is unusual in its reliance upon a stream of outside speakers rather than on a fixed syllabus and set of lectures by the instructor only. Former participants include cabinet members, senior representatives of international organizations, academics, civil society activists, and other world-class experts.

The seminar welcomes those who may be learning about Brazil for the first time as well as those who are already well acquainted with its people, society, and culture and wish to delve deeper into particular research areas.
