Senator Nelsinho Trad is a politician and physician specialized in General Surgery, Urology, Occupational Medicine, and Public Health. He served as mayor of Campo Grande, state of Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil from 2004-2012, and has been a Senator since 2018. He has held leadership roles in numerous parliamentary groups and committees, including President of the Foreign Affairs Committee in Federal Senate
(2019-2020), President of the Brazilian Representation in Mercosur Parliament since 2019 and President of Amazon Parliament, since 2021.
