How to make early reading and writing culturally relevant to Migrant Children from Central America and the Dominican Republic? The K-12 Outreach Program at ILAS, Columbia University, in partnership with The Central American and Caribbean Early Literacy Network of universities (RedLEI), live from Central America, invite K-12 teachers and educators to join the authors as they present and discuss their professional development guide, and then facilitate a hands-on workshop to use the guide by focusing on reading and writing.
This event is proudly part of the Teach Central America Week organized by Teaching for Change.
